Stephen
R. Moorhead is a founding partner of McDonald, Fleming,
Moorhead, Ferguson, Green, Smith, Blankenship, Heath &
de Kozan, LLP. He is a sixth generation
Floridian and a long-time resident of Pensacola, having graduated from Woodham High School. He obtained his bachelor’s degree
in accounting from Auburn University and his Juris
Doctorate from
the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.
Steve has been involved with the Florida Bar’s Section
on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, Co-Chair of its
Real Property Problems Study Committee, Adjunct
Professor in Real Property Law at Pensacola Junior
College and the University of West Florida and a
volunteer member of the
Board of Directors for Pensacola Habitat for Humanity.
He is currently a member of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar
Association, National Association of Industrial and
Office Properties, and Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. He
also serves as General Counsel for the Home Builders
Association of West Florida, Inc.
Steve’s practice is limited to matters involving real
estate, including real
estate transactions and real estate development.
