Suzanne
Blankenship has been practicing law in Pensacola with
the law firm of McDonald, Fleming, Moorhead, Ferguson,
Green, Smith, Blankenship, Heath & de Kozan, LLP since
1996. She earned both her
bachelor’s degree in political science and her master’s
degree in public administration from the University of
Alabama. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Hamline
University School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy.
Suzanne is a member of the Florida Bar’s Section on Real
Property, Probate and Trust Law, the Escambia-Santa Rosa
Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar. She is also
an active member of the North Gulf Coast Chapter of
Community Associations Institute, an organization
devoted to representing the interests of condominium
associations and homeowners’ associations throughout the
United States. In 2006, Suzanne was selected by the
Pensacola Business Journal as one of the
"Top 40 Under 40 Up and Coming Community Leaders" for
the Pensacola Bay Area.
Suzanne's practice is focused on matters involving real
estate law. A significant portion of her practice
involves serving as legal counsel for numerous
condominium and homeowners’ associations through
Northwest Florida. She also regularly represents buyers,
sellers and lenders in commercial and residential real
estate transactions in Florida and Alabama.
